Job summary

Qualifications

• Transports patients within the hospital to operating areas and between departments.
• Picks up laboratory specimens, equipment, supplies, reports and x-rays on routine routes and delivers to the appropriate location.
• Assists with positioning and basic care tasks under supervision.
• Upholds Kaiser Permanente policies and ensures patient safety and courteous service.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients within the medical center complex including to and from the operating room.
• Picks up laboratory specimens, equipment, supplies, reports and x-rays on regular routes and delivers to appropriate location.
• Assists physician and other personnel in positioning and basic patient care tasks.
• Promotes safe, courteous service and cooperative relations with staff and patients.
