UNC Health is seeking a Pathologist to provide comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology services and serve as Medical Director of the laboratory at a UNC Health hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This clinically focused role supports high-quality patient care, efficient diagnostic services, and collaboration with hospital leadership, clinicians, and laboratory staff.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in North Carolina.
• Demonstrated competence in general surgical pathology.

Responsabilidades

• Provide diagnostic interpretation of routine surgical pathology specimens and biopsies.
• Perform and interpret intraoperative frozen sections as required.
• Participate in cytology services where applicable.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and clinically meaningful pathology reports.
