Job summary

Tennessee Donor Services in Nashville is seeking a Hospital Development Coordinator to cultivate relationships with hospitals and healthcare professionals to promote organ donation and strengthen partnerships.

Ideal candidates will have healthcare marketing or public relations experience, understand hospital operations, and be able to educate staff on donation processes. A bachelor's degree and relevant experience are required. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field.
• 2 years marketing experience, preferably in medical/donation industry.
• Understanding of healthcare system and hospital operations.
• CPTC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic plans for hospitals to maximize organ/tissue donation potential.
• Engages with physicians, nurses, and coroner/medical examiner staff to facilitate donation and improve processes.
• Serves as liaison to hospital staff during donation, ensuring clear communication with families and organization.
• Develops and presents education to hospital staff on organ/tissue donation benefits and processes.
• Conducts data analysis and marketing initiatives to maximize donation potential and save lives.
• Documents all interactions with medical facilities; performs other duties as assigned.
