Job summary

Tennessee Donor Services in Knoxville seeks a dynamic Hospital Development Coordinator to cultivate hospital partnerships, promote organ donation, and strengthen our mission to save lives through collaboration with clinical teams.

You will engage physicians, nurses, coroners, and hospital staff, deliver targeted education on donation processes, analyze data to identify opportunities, and help expand life-saving programs across partner facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field.
• 2 years marketing experience, preferably within the medical or donation industry.
• Understanding of the healthcare system and hospital operations.
• CPTC preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to pass MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic plans for hospitals to maximize organ/tissue donation potential.
• Engages with physicians, nurses, and coroner/medical examiner staff to facilitate donation and improve processes.
• Serves as a liaison to hospital staff during the donation process, ensuring effective communication between the hospital, the donor’s family, and the organization.
• Develops and presents education to hospital staff on the benefits of and process for organ/tissue donation.
• Conducts data analysis and marketing initiatives to maximize potential in an effort to save and improve more lives.
• Documents all interactions with medical facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
