Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.
• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse & Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate patient placement and bed assignments.
• Manage patient flow and facilitate interhospital transfers.
• Communicate patient information clearly during handoffs and transfers.
• Assist in staffing hospital pods and responding to codes when needed.
• Oversee Bed Capacity Plan and open/close Flex Unit as required.
