Overview

Park West Veterinary Associates is actively seeking a results-driven Manager to lead our expanding team in a multi-million-dollar business that positively impacts the community. This role works closely with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure efficient and profitable operation of the hospital, driving revenue, managing costs, and cultivating a culture focused on top-notch patient care and exceptional customer service.

Regular on-site attendance is a fundamental requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Complete ownership of P&L, accountable for the hospital's performance
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs
• Manage accounts receivable
• Oversee hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs
• Manage payroll for hospital staff
• Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs
• Champion change and identify, document, share, and promote best practices
• Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Establish and drive the culture of the hospital
• Track and maintain current licensures for all DVMs
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations
• Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus
