Animal Medical Center of Moss Bluff is seeking a results-driven Hospital Manager to lead our expanding team on-site. You will partner with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure efficient, profitable hospital operations, drive patient care, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, regular client and staff interaction, and accountability for hospital performance, costs, and culture.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience.
• Experience in hospital, retail, or service-based industry in positions of increased responsibility is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own P&L and be accountable for hospital performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast hospital needs.
• Manage accounts receivable and oversee hospital inventory and costs.
• Oversee payroll and develop hospital schedule to control labor costs.
• Champion change and share best practices to improve operations.
• Lead the hospital team to enhance client service and administrative workflows.
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Maintain licensure for all DVMs and ensure compliance.

The Opportunity:

As a Hospital Manager, you will be an essential part of the hospital management team, collaborating closely with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the hospital. Your role will drive revenue, manage costs, and cultivate a hospital culture focused on top-notch patient care and exceptional customer service. You will oversee the planning and coordination of hospital operations while creating a supportive and cohesive team environment. Given the managerial responsibilities and the need for in-person interaction with clients and employees, regular on-site attendance is a fundamental requirement for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of P&L, accountable for the hospital's performance
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs
• Manage accounts receivable
• Oversee hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs
• Manage payroll for hospital staff
• Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs
• Champion change and identify, document, share, and promote best practices
• Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Establish and drive the culture of the hospital
• Track and maintain current licensures for all DVMs
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations
• Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus
