Job summary

Sinai Chicago is seeking a House Administrator to oversee daily operations of clinical units, work with unit managers and the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, and ensure policy compliance. The role requires clinical leadership, incident management expertise, and strong staff coordination across nursing teams.

The House Administrator will conduct rounds, manage emergencies, and lead staffing decisions while promoting patient-centered care and interdepartmental collaboration in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing and Illinois RN license.
• Recent ED/ICU or code experience; managerial experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EPIC and MEDITECH; BLS/ACLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical rounds to assess nursing care.
• Promote quality patient care and resolve staffing issues.
• Lead Code Blue responses and activate incident management.
• Coordinate staffing and ensure compliance with policies.
• Provide administrative leadership for hospital departments.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and attend committees.
