Job summary

Career Links in Kansas seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our hospital-based therapy team. This role evaluates and treats patients with physical, cognitive, and functional impairments in acute or inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Kansas State OT License (or eligibility for licensure).
• NBCOT certification required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients’ functional abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote independence in daily living activities.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment recommendations, and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Accurately document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
