Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to work 12-hour day shifts. This non-licensed role performs delegated routine patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The position supports EKGs, vital signs, basic patient care and transportation, with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care within a culture of respect and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CNA/Nursing Assistant program or demonstrated equivalency.
• Completion of 2nd semester of accredited Nursing Program; HHA with 1-2 years experience.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patients and families with age-appropriate communication under RN supervision.
• EKGs, vital signs, basic patient care and patient transport tasks.
• Performs delegated routine care and supports nursing staff on unit.

Education

Graduate of an accredited CNA/Nursing Assistant program or demonstrated equivalency
