UC Irvine Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner II (90%) within the Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine & Palliative Medicine, to deliver independent, team-focused care in ambulatory or inpatient settings.
Under the supervision of Anuj Ohri, MD, the NP will coordinate multidisciplinary care, manage chronic conditions, perform procedures per approved standards, and ensure compliance with licensure, PHI, and privacy policies.

Your Role on the Team The position of Nurse Practitioner II 90% in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine & Palliative Medicine, requires a highly competent, independent yet team-oriented individual who will be immersed in Hospital Medicine. Under the supervision of Anuj Ohri, MD and guided by the applicable policies and procedures, the Nurse Practitioner will participate in the comprehensive care of patients in the ambulatory or inpatient settings and provide multi-disciplinary care coordination, treatment, education, monitoring, and communication with patients and referring physicians. A Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who possesses the advanced education, knowledge, clinical skills and experience necessary to provide advanced nursing care in their area of specialization.
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who can work within the scope of practice, manage chronic stable medical conditions, routine care, acute or critical care, and medical and surgical procedures per approved standardized procedure. Familiarity with state statute for their licenses is necessary.
