Petco seeks a Hospital Medical Leader to build and guide a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital, mentoring staff and shaping medical standards. You will foster a culture of compassionate care, autonomy, and clinical excellence while collaborating with Medical Directors and support teams to deliver outstanding outcomes for pets and their families.

The role emphasizes leadership, team development, and the ability to implement quality clinical practices across the hospital.

Qualifications

• You have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You are passionate about practicing high-quality medicine.

Responsibilities

• Hire and mentor your team and shape the medical standards.
• Create a culture where exceptional medicine comes first and patients are prioritized.
• Lead a hospital with autonomy and support from Medical Directors and staff.
• Support doctors and hospital teams to grow, thrive, and deliver outstanding care.

Education

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from AVMA-accredited veterinary school
