Franciscan Health Michigan City Campus is seeking a Materials Technician to support the Supply Chain team by receiving supplies, controlling inventory, maintaining PAR levels, and ensuring timely availability of medical supplies for patient care.

The role involves delivering stock to departments, matching packing slips, performing cycle counts, and handling ERP duties to keep inventory accurate and accessible for clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of storeroom, inventory supply systems, receiving or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and deliver stock to Central Supply and departments.
• Match packing slips with received supplies to ensure correct quantities.
• Receive daily stock orders, restock shelves, rotate supplies and monitor expiration dates.
• Count and restock PAR locations daily to maintain PAR levels.
• Fill and deliver departmental daily requisitions.
• Answer incoming calls and assist end users as needed.
• Maintain clean supply areas.
• Perform weekly cycle counts of Central Supply items.
• Prepare parcels to be shipped out by courier to expedite hospital supplies.
