Job summary

UW Medical Center-Northwest is seeking a Materials Handling Aide 2 (Temp) for a 100% FT assignment, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, in Seattle. Put away supplies into clean rooms, carts, and storage locations, scan inventory labels, and check expiration dates per policy.

You will deliver supplies to nursing units and clinics, process issues and credits in Workday with proper cost allocation, use handheld devices and scanners, manage rental equipment, and respond to customer service

Qualifications

• High school graduation.
• 6 months of supply chain experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies to nursing units, clinics, and other locations.
• Perform issues and credits in Workday with correct cost allocation.
• Use handheld scanners and computer systems to manage orders.
• Manage rental equipment, charges, and usage.
• Answer calls and emails; respond to customer service requests.
• Scan inventory and rotate stock per policy.
