Job summary

County of Riverside’s University Health System - Medical Center is seeking a Stock Clerk to join the Materials Management team in Riverside. The incumbent will monitor inventory levels of medical supplies to ensure timely replenishment and proper rotation of items to prevent expiration.

Duties include distributing supplies to internal departments, maintaining storeroom organization, driving a county truck to other facilities, and providing quality customer service to hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Basic techniques of receiving, storing, and issuing supplies.
• Basic techniques involved in inventory control.
• Valid California Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load and unload supplies; operate forklift; inspect against requisitions and invoices.
• Store stock in orderly storeroom; maintain cleanliness; prepare items for delivery.
• Maintain routine records and assist in periodic physical inventory.
• May maintain petty cash funds and duplicate forms.
