Job summary

Timberline Animal Hospital in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead a dedicated team in a full-service companion animal practice. You will oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, and align operations with our mission to deliver high-quality patient care and outstanding client service.

You will own the hospital's financial health, manage budgets, labor, inventory, and drive process improvements while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience in a veterinary, medical, customer service, retail, or other fast-paced service environment.
• Proven track record of leading teams, building accountability and a positive culture.
• Experience implementing processes, improving workflows, and bringing structure to a busy operation.
• Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, financial performance, labor, inventory, or other operational metrics; P&L ownership a plus.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and developing team members.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proactive, hands-on leadership style with initiative and adaptability when priorities shift.
• Veterinary experience is preferred, but not required; leaders from human healthcare or customer-focused industries encouraged to apply.
