Job summary

Copper Springs East Behavioral Health in Gilbert, AZ, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Maintenance Worker to uphold the facility's physical plant and safety standards.

Responsibilities include daily reporting to Plant Ops, performing repairs, maintaining stock, and coordinating with departments to ensure uninterrupted operations. Prior hospital maintenance experience and English communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years' maintenance experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Reports daily to the Director of Plant Operations about the physical and structural conditions of hospital facilities and work in progress.
• Maintains and repairs equipment, buildings, and building systems per policies and standards.
• Administers the maintenance program to ensure uninterrupted operation of the plant.
• Collaborates with departments to plan work, set priorities, and request materials and parts as needed.
• Performs maintenance, repair work, minor construction, and checks installations of mechanical and electrical systems.
