Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid WV driver’s license required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Certification or license in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or machine work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and specific maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment per manuals and specs.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts and replace components.
• Install, inspect, operate and repair refrigeration equipment for hospital facilities.
• Assist in building renovations and perform light carpentry, electrical and mechanical duties.
• Operate hospital vehicles to deliver supplies and maintain department supplies.
