Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to maintain hospital systems including generators, switchgear, chillers, steam boilers, med gas lines, hospital beds and plumbing. The role requires strong preventive maintenance and hands-on repair skills in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of mechanical experience, hospital or industrial background, and the ability to read drawings, troubleshoot electrical systems, and perform general maintenance tasks

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years mechanical experience.
• Hospital or industrial experience required.
• Ability to perform plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and other mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Electrical repairs to light ballast outlets and receptacles.
• Troubleshoot air handlers, exhaust fans, and in-room heat coils.
• Knowledge of boilers and steam trap repairs.
• Read as-built and schematic drawings and interpret the drawings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
