Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital building and equipment to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Order and replace air filters; clean ice machines and change water filters.
• Plunge toilets, sinks; replace faucets, valves, fixtures.
• Service shredders, wheelchairs, carts, and other equipment.
• Assist maintenance technicians with minor maintenance tasks.
• Assemble furniture and incoming equipment.
• Complete minor repairs to building, equipment, fixtures, and furniture.
• Operate and maintain equipment in boiler and equipment rooms; monitor exhaust fans.
• Maintain logs and tests; perform preventative maintenance and corrective work orders.
• Document work orders in CMMS; report emergencies to engineering management.
• Replace light bulbs and ballasts; drive hospital vehicles to various locations.
