Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform general facility, building and equipment maintenance. You will complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, identify and resolve issues, and document activities using the CMMS system.

Requirements include 5–7 years of experience, electrical knowledge (120/208/277/460V), and experience with pump, motor, compressor and vacuum pump repair. A Maryland driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of high‑level maintenance system knowledge.
• Experience with 120V/208V/277V/460V electrical systems.
• Experience in pump repair and motor alignment.
• Experience in compressor and vacuum pump repair.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties of Maintenance Mechanic I and II.
• Installs, tests, inspects, maintains, repairs and replaces equipment and components.
• Determines scope of work, schedules, materials and manpower.
• Documents activities in the Computer Maintenance Management System.
• Reads specs, work orders and blueprints; mentors new staff.
