Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hospital-based nursing team. The LPN will provide direct patient care, document observations, and administer prescribed medications under supervision, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, at least one year of hospital experience, and an up-to-date BLS certification, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
• Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
