Job summary

UHS is seeking a laundry attendant to manage, sort, and deliver hospital linens. You will ensure accurate handling and tracking of linen, maintain orderly linen rooms, and replenish stock based on usage and established levels.

Responsibilities include loading carts, delivering to all hospital locations, and reporting any discrepancies or damaged items to supervision. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior laundry or material handling experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, tracks, and delivers laundry within the hospital.
• Inspect and sort linen; record and return rejects to laundry.
• Load carts for delivery and deliver linens to all user locations.
• Maintain linen room in a clean and orderly condition.
• Replenish linen according to established level and utilization; log usage.
