Overview and Responsibilities
Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hospital Liaison to join our team. You will work with hospital Case Management/Continuing Care staff to plan, coordinate, and facilitate discharge planning for home care services for patients receiving Respiratory and DME services. You will facilitate equipment delivery and setup at discharge and educate patients and caregivers on safe equipment use and maintenance.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow company policies regarding safety equipment and services
  • Assist in resolving customer equipment issues during emergencies
  • Implement quality improvement programs to meet standards
  • Report vehicle issues affecting safety
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely
  • Coordinate patient referrals, including insurance verification and follow-up
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and regulations
  • Develop relationships with hospital staff and healthcare providers
  • Maintain company vehicle in safe condition
  • Prepare and maintain records and logs
  • Participate in training seminars and trade shows
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Travel
  • Travel via company vehicle to patient homes for setup and delivery
Qualifications

Employment contingent on background check, drug screening (if applicable), and valid driver's license with a clean record.

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
Preferred Experience
  • Medical equipment, billing, or administrative experience
  • Three years related work experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
