Job summary

Virginia Beach Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Hospital Liaison to join our marketing team in Virginia Beach, VA. You will build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians' offices, and other referral sources to promote our facility's services and drive admissions.

You will educate providers about our capabilities, participate in weekly marketing meetings, and track activity while supporting census growth through proactive outreach and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Hospital liaison/marketing experience preferred.
• Must have own vehicle and ability to travel as needed.
• Flexible to respond to referrals during off-peak hours as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed targeted monthly inquiry and census budget goals.
• Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with assigned referral sources.
• Educate Acute Care Providers and other referral sources about our facility services, accreditations, awards, recognitions, clinical capabilities, specialty programs, and desired type of admissions.
• Understand and use positive trend analysis when meeting with hospital referral sources and prospective residents and responsible parties.
• Participate in weekly marketing meetings and other meetings as required.
• Submit weekly/monthly activity tracking and expense reports as required.
• Identify barriers to census development and bring them to the marketing meetings for discussion along with proposed solutions.

About the Role:

As a Hospital Liaison, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive professional relationships with assigned referral sources, including hospitals, physicians' offices, and other healthcare providers. Your primary goal will be to gain viable referrals for admission and promote our facility's services, including our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym and specialized programs.
