Job summary

Medical City Healthcare in Irving, TX is seeking a Laundry Attendant full-time days to manage the processing of linens and ensure clean, sanitized supplies for our hospitals and facilities. The role supports infection control and patient safety by following established washing and handling procedures.

You will weigh and log soiled linens, inspect for damage, sort and load washers, fold and prepare orders, and help with cleaning the laundry area and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Previous Laundry or EVS experience Required
• Ability to meet physical demands as this position will be responsible for lifting (5 - 20lbs)

Responsibilities

• You will receive, weigh and log soiled linens from hospitals.
• You will visually inspect linens for damages and unserviceability.
• You will sort soiled linens according to wash formula and type as well as assist in the loading and unloading of washers.
• You will properly fold, stack and tie linens for orders and assist with the loading and unloading of vendor and supply trucks.
• You will assist with cleaning the laundry area and equipment as well as the break room and restrooms.
