Job summary

Medical City Healthcare, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Laundry Technician for our facilities in the Dallas area. You will manage linen intake, quality checks, sorting and washing, plus loading and unloading laundry machinery and vendor shipments. The role supports patient care through clean, sanitized linens.

We value teamwork and reliability, with full-time day shifts and competitive benefits. Prior EVS or laundry experience is preferred, and the responsibilities require physical stamina

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Previous Laundry or EVS experience Required
• Ability to meet physical demands as this position will be responsible for lifting (5 - 20lbs)

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh and log soiled linens from hospitals.
• Visually inspect linens for damages and unserviceability.
• Sort soiled linens according to wash formula and type; assist in loading/unloading washers.
• Fold, stack and tie linens for orders; assist with loading/unloading of vendor and supply trucks.
• Assist with cleaning the laundry area, equipment, break room and restrooms.
