Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Laundry Worker at NCH North Naples Hospital to handle washing, drying, folding, sorting, and mending of linens and uniforms. You may work with external laundering partners or on-site equipment, depending on account needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 2 years of related work experience.
• May require a valid driver’s license based on the location.
• Bloodborne Pathogen Training may be needed based on the location.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, irons, steamers, folders, and sewing machines safely.
• Mend and repair uniforms and other textiles; report unusable items.
• Track laundry lists, count articles, and prepare discrepancy reports.
• Maintain cleanliness in laundry areas and manage waste and recyclables.
• Requisition, transport, and restock supplies; handle chemicals.
• Walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
