Job summary

Sodexo Live in New Orleans is seeking a part-time Laundry Worker. You will wash, dry, fold, sort, press, and mend clothes and linens, ensuring uniforms are neat and ready for distribution. Some locations use external services for laundering, while others handle it in-house.

Shifts vary, and full details are provided during interview. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and possibly a valid driver’s license or Bloodborne Pathogen training depending

1–2 years of related work experience.
May require a valid driver’s license depending on location.
Bloodborne Pathogen Training may be needed depending on location.

Responsibilities

Operate washers, dryers, irons, steamers, folders, and sewing machines safely and efficiently.
Mend and repair uniforms and other textiles; document unusable items and report to the Supervisor.
Track and verify laundry lists, count articles, use weighing systems, and prepare discrepancy reports.
Maintain cleanliness in laundry areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing garbage and recyclables.
Requisition, transport, and restock supplies; collect unused chemicals and refill storage containers as required.
Significant walking or other mobility; stand for extended periods during shift; lift up to 50 pounds.
