Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: Under supervision, performs duties from specimen procurement through processing and handling, conducts technical procedures and tests, assists in equipment maintenance, quality control, inventory management, and performs clerical functions including data entry, record keeping, and communicating results.

Required Qualifications

• One year of clinical laboratory experience or equivalent education and experience
• Essential skills and knowledge for the duties
• Customer service skills appropriate to the role
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work at an appropriate pace
• Ability to establish effective working relationships across the health system

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 16 college units in Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) and Algebra
• Good computer skills and knowledge of software applications
