Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital, part of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, Kaua‘i Region, Kapaa, HI, seeks a Kitchen Helper in the Nutritional Services department. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Hospital Executive Chef and supports meal preparation and service.

Responsibilities include routine kitchen tasks, cleaning, sanitizing utensils, and performing other duties. Weekend, holiday, and evening shifts are required to meet patient and staff needs.

Formación

• Education: a high school diploma or the equivalent preferred.
• Experience: none required; general kitchen work experience preferred.
• Licensure: current Hawai‘i type #3 driver's license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine manual work in the kitchen for meal preparation and serving.
• Clean kitchen and dining areas, wash and sanitize utensils and equipment.
• Undertake other assigned duties; weekend, holiday, and evening work required.
