Job summary

St. Joseph Hospital is hiring a Food Service Worker All Around to support the hospital kitchen operations. You will perform duties from food prep and stocking to serving patients and delivering meals, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires strong customer service skills and flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays. Prior food service or related experience is preferred; high school or equivalent is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Attending high school or equivalent preferred; prior food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports and promotes Covenant Health values in daily duties.
• Prepare hot and cold foods, stock and replenish supplies, and deliver patient meals.
• Take patient meal orders and assist with patient tray line.
• Greet and serve customers/patients professionally.
• Maintain sanitation and HACCP records; clean work areas and equipment.
• Coordinate with Nursing on dietary needs via EPIC.
