Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, team-oriented Dishwasher for Lutheran Home - CNS in Arlington Heights, IL. This role supports the hospital cafeteria by keeping the kitchen clean, stocking and organizing items, and ensuring efficient dishwashing operations.

Hourly pay is $17.50 with day/evening/night shifts available. Full-time and part-time positions are offered, with background checks and eligibility screening required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas.
• Monitor and empty trash cans.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
