Job summary

Sodexo is looking for a Dishwasher to support kitchen and facility operations at Jackson North Medical Center. The role involves keeping food production and service areas clean and organized, handling utensils and equipment, and assisting with basic setup and break-down tasks as directed.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and no prior experience. Shifts are varied with open availability preferred, and the pay rate is $17.94 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using appropriate sanitizing chemicals.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or mobility required during shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds (50 pounds occasionally).
• Attend shifts on time; other duties as assigned.
