Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a full-time Cook at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN. The schedule is early shifts with rotating weekends, typically 5:00 am to 1:30 pm or 4:30 am to 1:00 pm; online applications accepted only.

Primary duties include preparing high-quality food per recipes, ensuring correct portioning and serving temperatures, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or cooking experience is preferred.
• Experience with kitchen sanitation and safety standards is a plus.
• Ability to work early shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with proper portions and temperatures.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and maintains cleanliness.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety procedures.
