Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Cook at CHS Tennova Lafollet, 923 East Central Avenue, La Follette, TN 37766. Schedule runs 5:30 am–1:30 pm or 8:00 am–4:00 pm with rotating weekends. Pay rate is $15.00 per hour and online applications are accepted only.

As a cook, you will prepare meals to standard recipes, ensure safety and quality, and work in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Previous fast paced cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and schedules.
• Ensure food served at correct temperatures and is visually appealing.
• Follow HACCP and safe food-handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Assist in production planning, ordering, and receiving as needed.
