Job summary

Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia, is seeking a Cook to support food production and service for the Nutritional Medicine operation in a bedded Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).

The incumbent will perform cooking and food preparation duties, with supervision as required, in a facility where meals are prepared for patients and staff. Adherence to hygiene and safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform cooking and food preparation tasks.
• Ability to prepare fresh, frozen, and canned fruits and vegetables, cereals, eggs, soups, meat and meat products, gravies, sauces, fish, poultry, and potatoes or starch substitutes.
• Must meet personal hygiene standards and wear a hairnet or hat and a clean uniform daily.
