St. Mary’s Health & Clearwater Valley Health is seeking a hospital cook to assist in the preparation and presentation of meals for patients, staff, and visitors under the supervision of the Dietary Manager. The role emphasizes sanitation, quality, and teamwork in a high-volume environment.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week). Idaho Food Handler's Card is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire; one year of hospital/food service experience and related customer service

Formación

• Idaho Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• One year of cooking experience in hospital, hotel, institution or restaurant preferred.
• One year of directly related customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work and multitask in a high volume fast paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals for patients, staff and visitors according to Dietary Manager guidelines.
• Schedule daily food preparations and check orders for perishables and non-perishables.
• Assist in cleaning trays, utensils and equipment; ensure proper sanitation and safety.
• Report repair needs and supervise patient tray preparation as needed.
• Follow quality standards and HIPAA confidentiality; communicate with patients and staff.
