Responsibilities

• Follow directions for preparing, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other food items for consumption in patient and retail serving areas.
• Prepare foods by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, shred fruits and vegetables, and trim and cut meat, poultry or fish for culinary use.
• Taste products, read, and follow production sheets, and keep records as needed.
• Prepare and cook to order foods requiring short preparation time at cooking stations and preparation areas throughout the department.
• Read food order and receive verbal instructions on food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment and must follow all client regulatory HACCP rules and procedures.
• Perform other job duties as required.
