Job summary

AdventHealth in Calhoun, GA is seeking a kitchen associate to prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records and high-volume guidelines.

You will review pull sheets, organize ingredients, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure accurate temperatures and food safety. The role requires ability to multi-task, strong communication, and flexibility to work day shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Preferred).
• Knowledge of cooking methods and sanitation.
• Ability to follow production records and maintain temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records.
• Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring equipment and surfaces meet health standards and recording temperatures.
• Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals, communicate needs, and support efficient food service delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
