Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring correct temperature, attractive and tasty items.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures; stores or discards excess food.
• Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies; reports maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety practices; participates in safety meetings.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings; works with coworkers and managers.
