Job summary

HHS is seeking friendly, compassionate culinary team members to join the Tampa Rehabilitation Hospital kitchen. Under the guidance of the chef/production manager, you will cook meals for patients, visitors, and staff, support the hospital cafe, and assist with catering events.

Shift options include Morning, Day, Evening, and Night; both full-time and part-time positions are available, with a wage of $18/hour. We offer competitive wages and opportunities for growth within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen (fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, cooking, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, dietary cook, healthcare foodservice).

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and assist team members and management as needed.
