Compass Group USA's TouchPoint unit in Manhattan, KS is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK roles. Shifts are 5:00 am to 1:30 pm with rotating weekends; pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Previous cooking experience is preferred, and training is offered.

As part of Compass Healthcare, we serve patients, families, and visitors in Ascension Health hospitals. This role emphasizes food quality, HACCP compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies.
