Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Food Service Associate to support routine food preparation, tray assembly, serving, and delivery, while maintaining sanitation across food service areas. The role involves ensuring proper storage, HACCP adherence, and effective communication with patients, staff, and vendors.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED and offers an on-call schedule with potential weekend coverage. Prior hospital food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assembles food and non-food items for patient trays and cafeteria services.
• Delivers meals via carts to patient rooms and meeting areas.
• Collects soiled dishes and returns them to the dish room.
• Ensures quality and proper storage of foods per HACCP guidelines.
• Maintains cleanliness of dishes, carts, equipment, and work areas.
• Maintains stock levels and records inventory/disposals.
• Communicates effectively with patients, doctors, staff, and vendors.
• Keeps logs and scheduling records; may assist with training.
