Job summary

Canon Business Process Services, Inc. seeks an Inventory Technician II to process requests, pull and deliver stock to ordering departments in a hospital setting.

You will handle receiving and delivering special orders and support PAR locations. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, up to one year in hospital materials distribution, knowledge of Lawson or similar systems, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• One year in hospital materials distribution, inventory management or logistics preferred.
• Working knowledge of Lawson (or similar supply chain management systems) required.
• Must be a “critical thinker” with an ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills required for success in this function.
• Demonstrated good ability to prioritize work, strong organizational skills and initiative to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Process requests, pulling and delivering stock items to ordering departments.
• Receive and deliver special orders to appropriate departments.
• Work with Receiving & Supervisors/Managers, Inventory Control Analysts and Customer Service Specialists on priority services and issue reporting.
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Assist supervisors and managers with work as assigned.
