Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Purchasing Assistant 2 for Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA. The role supports daily hospital operations by coordinating receipt, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment.

Under supervision, you will maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels, identify replenishment needs, and assist with supply requests to ensure timely availability of essential items for hospital

Formación

• High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Purchasing Agent 1 (FET040) or equivalent position.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of hospital supplies, materials and equipment.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with replenishment, stock control and responding to staff supply requests.
