Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business or related fields a plus.
• Substitution of 3 years inventory management experience accepted.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enters patient charges and inventory transactions via PMM, Intellishelf and Meditech systems.
• Delivers and picks up supplies, lab specimens, equipment, mail, data reports and other items, adhering to a preplanned schedule, including STAT orders.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge and understanding of inventory principles and acts in coordination within using units of the hospital.
• Demonstrates communication skills including follow thru that keeps all stakeholders up to date/informed and promotes teamwork.
• Maintains a neat and safe work environment. Utilizes equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Prioritizes work and provides prompt and efficient service working closely with others to positively acheive department objectives. Demonstrates flexibility thru the modification of ethe assigned schedule in order to meet customer demands with minimal notification.
