A leading IT services company is looking for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder to review and analyze patient medical records and assign standardized codes based on ICD-10-CM and PCS. The role requires a minimum of 3 years experience in inpatient coding and relevant coding credentials like CCS. An inpatient hospital medical coder is a healthcare professional responsible for reviewing and analyzing patient medical records from hospital stays and assigning standardized codes for diagnoses and procedures. These codes are primarily based on ICD-10-CM (International Classification of Diseases) and PCS (Procedure Coding System) standards.
The hourly rate for this position is between $30.00 – 35.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
