Children's National Hospital seeks an HVAC Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital heating, cooling, and related systems across the campus. You will respond to work orders, support HVACR teams, and ensure safe, reliable operation of critical equipment.

Required: HS diploma or GED, 5 years hospital HVAC experience, valid driver's license, and licenses including DCRA Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration EPA 608 and Universal CFC.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years of related HVAC maintenance experience.
• 5 years hospital HVAC experience is required.
• Must lift up to 40–75 pounds and operate in a healthcare environment.
• Valid driver's license to operate hospital vehicles.
• DCRA Journeyman License for HVAC and Refrigeration EP A 608 is required.
• Universal CFC License is required.

Aufgaben

• Conduct safety checks throughout the hospital complex.
• Perform complex to minor repairs on HVAC systems.
• Assist HVACR teams and other trades as assigned.
• Maintain and repair HVAC boxes, chillers, pumps and related equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls and prioritize work orders.
• Ensure thorough documentation of corrective and preventive maintenance.
