Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial HVAC systems across multiple hospital settings, read blueprints, and maintain accurate service records.

The role requires a High School Diploma, at least 1 year of healthcare or industrial experience, EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (90-day grace), and a valid Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare environment is required.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required (90 grace period to complete after date of hire).

Responsibilities

• Maintain chilled water and central air handling units through preventive maintenance.
• Perform coil cleanings, filter changes, sensor calibrations, and UV bulb replacements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and operation manuals.
• Document all work, equipment conditions and labor time using the CMMS.
